Getting Started

The first phase of the process is to gather information from you to gain an understanding of your business, project goals and objectives, desired features, and ideas you may have already formulated regarding what you would like to incorporate in your website. From all of this information, we formulate a written proposal outlining the scope of the work, expenses, and time lines.

Basic Set-up

We set up your domain (if required), and hosting account. We install your Content Management System so that we are ready to add content to your site once the design is developed.

Development of the Menu

The menu is our blueprint for the kinds of information you need housed on the site, along with the number of pages and depth of the website. We communicate with you through questionnaires, by email, and in person when possible, and establish the basic structure of the site and design elements.

Design Phase

We set up the basic framework of the site and begin working on the front page design incorporating the features outlined in our communications with you to create a concept that captures your brand, focus, goals and objectives. Once the design concept is completed, we submit it to your for approval.

Website Construction

All of the pages are constructed along with input of content, images, videos, add-ons and any features outlined in the proposal. We work closely with you to gather the content you would like loaded onto the site, and/or we will write copy for you and submit it to you for approval as we go along.

Review & Launch

Once the website is complete, we do a final review with you to make sure there is nothing that needs to be changed or tweaked. We test the website on all of the main browsers including Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Chrome and Opera to make sure everything works well. We test for the functionality of all features and make any final modifications. We go live!

Support

Our ongoing support includes tutorials on using the Content Management System, security checks and updates, website backups, and web hosting.
